Hi! The other day I went to a bazaar. The veggie stands were colorful, the chicken stands were brimming with live and dead chicken, and the fish stands were bizarre, because some of the fish were in little plastic dishes filled with a centimeter of water, but they were still alive! They were flapping and squirming around. Some were still. It was creepily fascinating to watch. Is creepily a real word? Anyway, the highlight of the bazaar was the real live goat next to the goat meat stand we went to. Since mom and I were waiting for the meat to be prepared and ordered , I took some pictures of the live goat. It posed, and afterwards it was always turned towards toward me while I was at the stand. I didn't realize why until I came in his range. He licked the end of the bow that was on my pants as if he were going to eat it! After that I made sure he couldn't reach me. (He was tied to a bicycle.) Later, when he saw he couldn't get the bow, he walked away towards the bicycle. I was about to follow when I noticed he had left me a little present. I stayed away from him after that.
Right now I'm at a tea garden. The leaves they use to make tea (tea leaves) are picked and processed here. My uncle is the manager of this garden. He has a big golden retriever named Jimmy. Guess what Jimmy eats? Marie biscuits, rice and lentils, roti and milk, mangoes, soup and sweets are only part of his diet. This morning I brushed his fur, but I don't think he liked it, because afterwards whenever he saw me he barked as if I were a stranger. I had to feed him2 Marie biscuits to make him stop. We brought him a shirt, but it was a little too tight. The flea and tick collar we also brought is now constantly worn by him, though. This morning, I started to pet him, and whenever I started to leave he would bark. I spent 15 minutes just stroking his fur. Today only dad and I were home, so I got to pick today's lunch menu. I feel like I'm in an aristocratic Greece though, because there are servants. There is a cook, a driver, and 4 other servants. It makes me feel uncomfortable. The huge bungalow (did I mention I was staying in one?) is also beautifully furnished. There is this huge granite bathtub in our bathroom. Right now I'm at an Internet Cafe, because the bungalow we're staying at doesn't have Internet connection. Go figure. I have to go now. See you later.Bye!
